Charing Cross

For Kent and Sussex, Charing Cross is a good exit point. The line to Hastings is slow but takes in the highly sought-after town of Tunbridge Wells and quintessentially English villages such as Robertsbridge. The lines to Canterbury lead you through the Garden of England and to the more industrial coastal towns of Rochester and Chatham, as far as the newly trendy seaside town of Whitstable.
