Kings Cross
The station is currently being overhauled to match its near neighbour St Pancras International for modernity. The new Regents Quarter being created beside it is expected to create 30,000 jobs, of which many will be filled by people commuting from the Fens. Trains here take you to through Hertfordshire to the high house prices of Cambridge, then on to much more affordable Kings Lynn. Fast trains have also extended the commuter circle northwards to Grantham and Newark.
