EARLSWOOD It is hard to find a dividing line between Earlswood and Redhill. Some of the people who live here work at the nearby East Surrey Hospital. There are also plenty of commuters, travelling to both Croydon and London. The conversion of the Royal Earlswood Hospital into luxury apartments (where two bedrooms cost £175,000 to £200,000) improved the area and there is a beautiful common with two lakes for boating and fishing. A two-bedroom flat would cost from £170,000; a three-bedroom late-Victorian semi from £280,000.

I am currently renting in Earlswood and in the process of buying a house there. A three-bedroom late-Victorian semi will cost you a minimum of £250,000, not £200,000! A budget of £280,000 would be more realistic.
