HILDENBOROUGH is something of a poor relation to its wealthy neighbours. It has the occasional shop and garage but no real centre, and the B245 makes it a place to drive through rather than to stop in. For affordable housing, however, it’s worth a look. A two-bedroom house will cost around £150,000; three-bedroom £300,000 to £400,000. There is a farmers’ market every Tuesday.
