Monks Risborough
MONKS RISBOROUGH No longer separated from Princes Risborough but rather a suburb of it, Monks Risborough has a few relics of its medieval past and some pretty cottages, but now consists mainly of Sixties’ and Seventies’ semis and plenty of bungalows which attract retired people. An estate bungalow starts from around £230,000; a roomy three-bedroom semi around £260,000.
Good for: active town life, convenient for Oxford and the Midlands as well as London.
