Harlow Mill
HARLOW MILL This is the station for some of Harlow’s smarter parts – Mark Hall North, for instance, where a three-bedroom house costs £235,000. Harlow Old Town is very popular because of the older period properties it contains, together with good little shops, including two bakers. A house here is likely to cost 10–20 per cent more than its nearest equivalent in the New Town. There are many pretty villages to the east. At Fyfield or Moreton, for example, you could buy a three-bedroom cottage for £365,000, or a country house with six bedrooms and paddocks for £1.4m. People who live in this area are not famous for their liking of Harlow and are more likely to nip south and use the Central Line from Epping.
